Roll, Breadstick & Biscuit Recipes
Onion Cheddar Crescents
These rolls are fragrant with onion and filled with cheddar cheese.
2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 envelop Lipton Golden onion soup mix
1 1/2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking
spray.
On a flat surface, separate the dough into triangles.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the butter, soup mix and cheese. Spread
some of the mixture over each triangle and roll it up starting from the wide end
to form a crescent. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake them
until they are golden brown, about 14 to 18 minutes. Let the rolls rest on the
baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing them with a spatula.
Makes 8.
