Cake Recipes A-C
AmbrosiaCake
1 (10-inch) sponge or angel food cake
2 cups sour cream
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin orange sections, drained
Evenly cut cake into 3 horizontal layers.
Stir together sour cream, crushed pineapple and brown sugar. Place a layer of
cake on serving planner. Top with 1/3 of the pineapple mixture. Repeat 2 more
times. Arrange mandarin orange sections over top. Chill well.
This cake must be kept refrigerated.
