Chess Cake

1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
3 eggs, divided
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Stir cake mix, butter and 1 egg together well. Press into prepared pan.

Beat cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and remaining eggs together well. Pour over crust. Bake for 40 minutes. Do not open the oven while baking!
