Strawberry Shortcake

5 1/4 cups Bisquick or other buttermilk baking mix
6 tablespoons sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
6 tablespoons butter, melted
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen, sweetened
    strawberries, thawed

Heat oven to 425 degrees F.

In a large mixing bowl, mix Bisquick, sugar, milk and butter. Roll dough out on lightly floured board to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into 4-inch rounds. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Serve with strawberries and their juice on top. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
