Beef Recipes A-B
Brisket
From the kitchen of Marilyn Kranich
After this marriage of almost 47 years, and many good brisket recipes, I find
this the best and the easiest.
Line baking or Pyrex dish with heavy duty foil. Lay brisket on foil. Cover with
1 bottle Heinz Chili Sauce and 1 package onion soup mix. Cover brisket tightly
all around with the foil. This is important! Bake at 350 degrees F for 2 1/2
hours for 3 pounds, 3 hours for 4 pounds, etc. Bake day before, if possible. Let
stand 1/2 hour before carving. Everything is in the foil! No mess and wonderful!
