Corned Beef and Cabbage

1 head cabbage, chopped
1 large onion, minced
1 (12 ounce) can corned beef, chopped
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons red pepper flakes

Cook cabbage and onion over low heat in a small amount of extra virgin olive oil, stirring frequently, until cabbage is cooked down and wilted. Add corned beef, and mix well. Stir in black pepper and red pepper flakes. Cover and simmer about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
