Souper Pork Chops

6 pork chops
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 soup can milk

In a large skillet, brown pork chops on both sides, then place in a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle mushrooms over the top.

Combine soup mix, cream of mushroom soup and milk; pour over all. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

Serve with white or brown rice.
