Pasta Recipes D-L
Lazy Lasagna
1 1/2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce, divided
1 (8 ounce) package lasagna noodles (9 strips)
1 pound ricotta or cottage cheese
1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Spread about 1 cup spaghetti sauce in a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan. On
top of sauce, arrange a layer of half the uncooked lasagna. Top with 1/3 of the
remaining sauce, 1/2 of the ricotta, 1/3 of the mozzarella, and 1/3 of the
Parmesan.
Repeat layers, gently pressing remaining lasagna pieces into cheese mixture
below. Pour remaining sauce over, making sure all lasagna pieces are covered
with sauce. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
Cover with aluminum foil, and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 20 minutes, until cheese is lightly browned and
bubbling. Wait at least 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
Serves 8.
