Sandwich & Wrap Recipes A-D
BBQ Beef in a Biscuit
1 pound ground beef
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
Brown the ground beef. Drain off grease. Add barbecue sauce; heat through.
Mix Bisquick with milk. Stir until thoroughly mixed. If mixture is dry, add a
little milk. If it's wet, add a little Bisquick. Dough should be stiff. Press
Bisquick mixture into oblong glass pan. Be sure to flour fingers as you go or it
will stick to you. Shape it up around the side like a pie crust. Pour in beef
mixture. Top with cheese. Bake at 450 degrees F for about 1/2 hour or until
biscuit is browned. Sharp cheese may be used instead of mozzarella.
