Creamed Sweet Peas

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup milk
2 cups fresh sweet peas or 1 (10 ounce) package
    frozen peas, thawed
1/4 teaspoon pepper

In medium saucepan, combine flour, sugar and milk; mix well. Add peas and pepper and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes or until peas are heated through and sauce has thickened.

Makes 4 servings.
