Oniony Baked Potatoes
1 stick softened butter or margarine
1 (1 3/8 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
4 or 5 large baking potatoes
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix butter with dry onion soup mix.
Scrub potatoes and cut a lengthwise wedge in each deep enough to accommodate 2
tablespoons onion butter. Spoon onion butter into each wedge and wrap the potato
in aluminum foil, being careful not to tilt it. Place filled side up in baking
pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until done.
