Spinach-Mushroom Saute
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 small onion, thinly sliced
8 ounces mushrooms, thickly sliced
1 (10 ounce) package fresh spinach, washed
and stemmed
1 to 2 teaspoons garlic powder
In a large frying pan, saute onion in butter for 2 to 3 minutes. Add mushrooms
and saute 2 to 3 minutes longer. Add spinach by handsful, stirring and cooking
about 4 minutes or until all spinach is coated. Sprinkle with garlic powder
while spinach is cooking.
Serve immediately.
Makes 4 servings.
