Whipped Sweet Potatoes

1 (28 ounce) can sweet potatoes
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted, divided
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups crushed corn flakes

Drain most of liquid from sweet potatoes. Place sweet potatoes in mixing bowl and cut large pieces of potatoes into small pieces. Beat sweet potatoes until creamy and fold in 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Beat until butter and sugar thoroughly combined with sweet potatoes and pour into buttered 2-quart baking dish.

Combine crushed corn flakes and remaining melted butter and sprinkle over sweet potato casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.
