Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, flour, grated cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions.
In a separate small bowl, beat the egg with milk, salt, and pepper.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined to form a batter.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and flatten slightly.
Cook fritters for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove fritters from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
