Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the chicken until browned.
Add bell peppers and cook for another 5 minutes until softened.
Stir in the cajun seasoning and cook for 1 minute.
Combine the chicken mixture with the rice and heavy cream in a baking dish.
Top with shredded cheese, then bake for 25 minutes, until bubbly.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Add a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley on top before serving for a pop of color. Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
