Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and sauté until softened.
Stir in garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender.
Add chicken pieces to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned.
Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to coat.
Pour in chicken broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
Reduce heat and mix in sour cream until well combined. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve over pasta or rice and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, consider serving with a sprinkle of lemon zest.
