In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the orzo pasta to the skillet and toast it for 2 minutes, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
Pour in the chicken broth, season with salt and black pepper, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the orzo is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
