Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Stir in the diced tomatoes (with juices) and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir until well combined. Allow to simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add grated Parmesan, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce until fully coated. Serve immediately with extra Parmesan.
Notes
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick!
