Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large pot, brown the ground turkey over medium heat until fully cooked.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the rinsed wild rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer.
Cover and let simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
Once rice is cooked, stir in the heavy cream, thyme, and pepper. Mix well and heat through.
Notes
Add fresh parsley for garnish and extra flavor. Serve with a side salad.
