Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs.
Place chicken on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crisp skin, broil for the last 3 minutes watching carefully.
