Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the milk and lemon zest.
Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined, then fold in the blueberries.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then turn them out onto wire racks to cool completely.
