In a large bowl, combine ground beef, parmesan cheese, 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese, basil, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes or until fully cooked.
Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
