Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined, then add egg, buttermilk, and vanilla.
Gradually add flour and cocoa powder to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the dish, spread cream cheese over it, and top with remaining batter.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
These brownies are best served chilled for a firmer texture.
