Instructions
Preparation Steps
Place the chicken thighs at the bottom of the crock pot.
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, ketchup, grated ginger, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken in the crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Serve hot over steamed rice and garnish with green onions if desired.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, you can remove the chicken and simmer the sauce in a pan to reduce before serving.
