Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until well combined.
Shape the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking pan.
Spread additional ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for glazing.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh ground beef with a fat content of about 20%. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
