Instructions
Preparation Steps
Combine sugar, corn syrup, and heavy cream in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until the sugar dissolves, then bring the mixture to a boil.
Allow to boil without stirring for about 20 minutes until it reaches a soft ball stage (234°F).
Remove from heat and add the butter and Fireball whiskey, stirring until fully mixed.
Pour the caramel mixture into a greased baking dish and let it cool completely.
Once cooled, cut into squares or rectangles for serving.
Notes
For an extra touch, sprinkle sea salt on top before the caramel sets. These are great for gift-giving!
