Preparation Steps
Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.
Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Pour in the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add spinach and mix until wilted, cooking an additional 2-3 minutes.
Combine the turkey mixture with the cooked pasta, stirring thoroughly.
Serve topped with grated parmesan cheese.
