Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Arrange wings on the wire rack in a single layer and bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
While wings bake, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
Remove wings from oven and toss immediately in the honey garlic sauce until well coated.
Return wings to the rack and bake for an additional 5 minutes to set the glaze. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil wings for 2-3 minutes after baking. Adjust spice level by increasing or omitting red pepper flakes.
