Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the macaroni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Stir in the hot honey.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, chicken mixture, milk, and half of the cheddar cheese.
Pour the mac and cheese into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
For an extra kick, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes before serving. Great with a fresh salad!
