Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the acorn squash in half and remove the seeds.
Place the squash halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
In a bowl, mix maple syrup, melted butter, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Drizzle the mixture over the squash and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until tender.
Notes
For an extra kick, sprinkle some sea salt before serving. Pairs well with roasted meats.
