Instructions
Preparation Steps
Slice the mushrooms and chop the onion.
In a frying pan, sauté the onions and garlic until soft.
Transfer the sautéed mixture to the slow cooker.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the slow cooker.
Pour sherry wine, vegetable broth, soy sauce, and thyme over the mushrooms.
Stir to combine all ingredients.
Cover and cook on low for about 5 hours.
Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For extra creaminess, stir in a bit of cream just before serving.
