Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season salmon fillets with salt and black pepper.
Carefully place salmon in the hot skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Reduce the heat to medium, then add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
Baste the salmon with the melted butter and garlic for additional flavor.
Drizzle with lemon juice before serving, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Serve with steamed vegetables or over a bed of rice for a complete meal. Try adding a touch of chili flakes for some heat!
