Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, mix sliced peaches with lemon juice, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
Add melted butter and milk to the dry ingredients; stir until just combined to form the batter.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spoon the peach mixture evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbling. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a delightful dessert.
