Instructions
Preparation Steps
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add chopped onion. Sauté until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cubed chicken thighs to the pan, seasoning with Cajun spice. Cook until chicken is browned.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
Drain the rigatoni and mix it with the chicken and sauce in the skillet. Stir in cheese until melted.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with more cheese if desired.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 15 minutes or until top is golden.
Notes
Serve with a side salad or garlic bread to complement the flavors. For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper!
